I have a 2000 civic ex and I plan to do a gsr swap soon. My car is an automatic tranny and I would like to switch it over to a manual. Has anyone ever attempted this or know what exactly is invovled besides the obvious like, I need a manual tranny, shifter and linkage, etc. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

ehhh..sell ur civic..buy a 5spd with a bad motor or no motor for cheap...ull save alot

I did my change from auto to maunel it was about 1,000 bucks in parts it wasn't too bad, keep your car if you want but you have to spend a little bit to get where you want , or you can let a shop do it for about 1,500 bucks if you have the money to spend.
