Ive just put in and mounted my b16a2 into a ek civic, one thing is the ek has a second bar on the gear stick trhat doesnt have a mount place ojn the gear box like it did on the D series is it just a stabiller or someone as im going to cut it off unless anyone objects

Dude dont cut that thing off!! If you have B16A2 then that is important.

how is it important it doesnt even reach the gearbox and theres no mount on the gearbox for it

That is interesting. Mine had bars. One attached with a 1/8' pin and the other with a 12mm through bolt.
