both will be about the same as far as work to get them in goes
so id say go with the B18C1... more Hp, more Tq, more displacement, over all just a better starting point

I'd go with the B18C1, more hp/torque to start with

neither of those motors is going to be easy to swap, being as they arent the same obd as your car. If you want ease of swap (and to save ALOT of $) you should swap in a motor of the same gen as your car. 2 good swaps that I would recommend would be the b18a1 (ls swap) 137 hp, 125 tq if I remember right, and the b16a sir1 160/111 again if I remember right. If you really have enough money, I would buy the ls block, and the b16 head, do an ls/vtec. You could probably do it for around $3k in this generation, cause if you look around the short block can go for like $200, you then can get the full swap from hmotors for the b16 for $1150, swap the pistons, keep the ls rods (I am pretty sure you can do this) and you get a high cr, with the stroke of the b18, you would use the ecu from the b16 I believe, and then you would have to have machine work done to the block to prepare it for vtec, wire your car for vtec and you are about there, and thats only about $2500 spent give or take including mounts. I am sure there would be other things you need though. Also you would use the b16 tranny.... This is just my idea if you want good results out of your gen car.

It doesn't sound like your looking for all out street terrorism,so IMO the B16A1siR would be a good choice for your car.Good power, support, and parts availibility.

well it's like this... i had a b18.... `93 ls block, `94 gsr jdm(from japan) head `97 type R jdm ecu... numerous mods, aem cams, port polish, vtec controller, 75 shot nos, rock solid mounts(you felt every vibration), typical crap... i was runnin 262hp with 10.2 on the quarter stripped till i wrapped it around a tree. if you want some balls go with that... if you just want a quick car go with the b16... it will be easyer and cost less! either swap is gonna be a bitch anywayz... but like that other guy said with the ls\vtech you gotta be carefull cuzz if you build it or a buddy does and doesn't fully know whatz goin on you'll throw a rod in a heartbeat... plus why go with a smaller head b16 when the gsr i beleive is spec wise a little more powerfull... combine the torque from the ls(bigger bore and stroke) with the high rpms of the gsr or the Type R(smaller crank) and you got yourself dam near a 10 sec car...laterz

your a fucking retard.... you cought yourself out in your own lie dipshit....

a "93 ls block, `94 gsr jdm(from japan) head `97 type R jdm ecu" is not a fucking B18C5
238 and 262 arent even close so what one was it???
was it 140mph or was it 150+mph??? make up your fucking mind
and JDM ECUs are limited at 113mph... not many places make chips for them, hondata wont work with them, so how exactly did you remove the speed limiter??? fuck it howd you get an OBD-2 ECU to work on an OBD-1 head in an OBD-0 car????
perhaps you should research your lies a little better next time... then you might not get cought out so easily.... and get yourself a notebook to keep track of the bullshit you make up.. that way you wont contradict yourself with another lie
