YES, I'M ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE WHO DON'T LISTEN TO OTHERS WHEN THEY SAY SWAP A B16A2 INSTEAD OF A B16A SIRII....PLEASE HELP ME OUT. I HAVE TONS OF WIRING PROBLEMS. I DON;T EVEN KNOW WHERE TO START..I was told i need a ex harness...and it would help along the process. Is that correct?? if thats right which ex engine harness should i use?? the 95 or the 98... My car is a 98 honda civic hatchback. Thanks guys. Diagrams would be nice too.

well a B16a SiR2 is the motor you shoudl use for your EG, you can get away with using a GSR obd1 harness with some unused plugs...

to get this straight....

you are puting an OBD1 engine into an OBD2 car?

you could get a vtec harness from a 5th gen and repin it with the plugs from your harness so that it mates with the chasis harness.... also you will probably want a obd2->obd1 adapter for your ECU you can get those off ebay

sorry I can't help with wiring diagrams
