All i need is a list of all the mounts/ brackets i need to put a USDM 99-00 Si motor into my 98 civic hatchback DX. If you could provide the part numbers that would be awsome but i just need a list of what i need.

Also with wiring is this correct and will it work: wiring my DX for vtec and use a OBD2a - OBD2b conversion harness connected to a 99 Si ecu.

well you are going to have to order the driver side mount from hasport or something but the rest you can use from the94-01 integra and the 99-00 si this is why

besides that i would sell the ecu and get a chipped p28 and go that way it is easy to do it that way if you need help let me know

I used all the dx mounts, with the Si rear mount bracket that mounts to the front subframe. Both front roll stabilizer mounts from the dx too. I also used the pt2 99 si ecu, and it works perfect.

You don't need to buy anything to mount it except the rear bracket.

Use the Si shift linkage, but you need to get the hardware (bolt and large washer) from the 99 Si to bolt it up to the tranny, because it's a different mounting style than the dx and your factory hardware wont work. I didn't know that during the swap and ended up having to rig it up to work and baby it around until the part came in. I was so eager to rev it hard but I was afraid the linkage might come apart in front.

i wasn't saying to hack what i mean is to see the mount because if you do it wrong it is going to cost you in the end the only thing to do is to get the driver side mount from hasport when it comes to the 96-00 civic i was just showing the example of why the mounts will not work
