Default B16B Vtec

Im currently swaping a B16b into a 2000 civic dx and the vtec sol dosent have an oil pressure switch like most B series vtec sol does anyone know how to wire the vtec if there isnt a oil pressure switch ???? i was thinkin i might have to jump some wires at the ecu so that it sees oil pressure so that the vtec will work has anyone had this problem before ???


and what can i do to fix it thanks in advance

It's been a while since I trolled through it, but I believe the wiring specifics for this are in teh reference section, check it out.

I swapped a jdm b16 without the oil pressure switch. If the ecu isn't looking for it, then it isn't needed. The p30 ecu that came with the j-spec didn't need it and I have had no problems.

Thanks for the info ......I'll finish wiring it up and see if the ecu looks for it or not
