Have a look at the cams, if they have 3 lobes per cyl then they are vtec and you need B series DOHC VTEC cams, if they only have two then they are non vtec. If you need vtec B18C or B16A will work, just find some good used ones. If not then find some non vtec b series cams.

I've got a set of GSR B18C cams for sale if you need them.

If you have non vtec you need non vtec, if you have vtec you need vtec.

Yup, looks like it, what's wrong with the cams? They usually don't really go bad, no much can go wrong with them other than wearing out.

Rockers look ok judging by the pics.

my engine was leakin oil so I told him kind of where it was coming from and he said my cam seals was messed up but he was gonna do it free of charge. Because I just replaced my pistons and I guess he messed up but then he couldn't find the seals because he don't kno what heads my engine has and then he told me that the cam shaft were wasted and that was one of the reason why it was leaking...so I guess I have to go out buy me some vtec cam shaft gsr or b16a will do right ?

Post some pics of your cams and someone can tell you if they're done.

Uhh I'm not really sure what kind of picture not really good in parts....I am already lookin for some cams to buy...I already got the cam gears and my mechanic told me he might get some this Saturday...I was thinking does the camshaft make a lot of differences on engine performance ? Like that I can get some porformance camshafts

Immediately take your engine to a different mechanic. Like, now. This guy is easily more clueless than you. Sorry for being harsh, but you need someone who has half a clue about Hondas if you ever hope to fix this correctly.

I agree, take it to a different mechanic. There are codes on all the heads.

B16 and Type-R motors have the same CAST head...some of the differences between the two heads are that the Type-R head has a better and stronger valvetrain, the cams, lighter valves, the better intake manifold and bigger throttlebody, and a mild port job from the factory.

b16 and type-r heads are stamped PR3-X (x being a random number...in this case its 4)
see:

P72 cast head - GSR b18c head

Also another random fact: u can tell the date of the head by the numbers to the far left of those circular stamps with numbers on it. See the " 0 0 " ? That means this head was manufactured in 2000.

The joke was that your cousin is also your uncle, implying some sort of incestuous reproduction in your lineage.
