someone is offering me a f20b engine (180hp from an accord sir) at a really good deal. What do you guys think of this engine? is it hard to find pieces for it?
i have a 1996 civic hatch with a b16a3. will they be a big difference bettween thoses 2? thanks ![]() |

I'm not sure what the specs are on your engine, but you'd definitely see a performance increase, at least in a straight line. It's pretty close to swapping an H22 into your car. If it's got 180 hp, then it's the auto version of that engine. The manual is 200 hp.
Aftermarket parts are pretty much anything that will fit into an H22A, with the exception of a few bottom end pieces. The swap procedure will be the same as swapping in an H22A. Check out this link for a little more infoon the F20B. http://asia.vtec.net/article/CF4/ __________________
