i gotta 94 ex coupe with an H22A swap and the shift linkage cable is ripped..... i was wondering how this is caused? is it because how its positioned cuz thats what pplz been tellin me... so plz help?!

Could be caused by a number of things... did you cut the hole under your factory shifter to accommodate the cables? Are they rubbing on anything from the shifter to the trans? Hard to say what's causing it without any information...

its by the steering rack but its not touching it... the secondary is (the one that goes side to side)?

Was it a new cable? If not I guess it might have already been frayed or tearing apart. As long as it's not binding up or being cut into by something I don't really see how that could happen...
