I have finished wiring up my 99 b16 with a 97 ex harness (motor not in car). I have all sensors and harness clips identified except one. The sensor is not on the engine itself, but the harness is located under the intake manifold. It a one-wire harness with blue/red color. I am looking for some input on this harness or rather the sensor it goes to.

According to this site, it the "ACS", but what is that.

According to that site the pinout is A27 which is the Engine Coolant Blower Motor Switch on OBDII.

However, I list that sensor as a Yel/Grn wire from sensor to ECU.

its for the A/c system. more commonly called the A/C Request Input. it raises/adjusts idle approprately when the a/c is kicked on.

I have determined that the sensor is the Knock Sensor, which mine was missing on the motor I purchased. . . .

Off to the salvage yard.

Knock sensor is red/blue.

The EX (our Canadian Si right?) uses a knock sensor.
