im about to buy a jdm b18b to replace the obd1 b18b1 in my 94 LS that i blew, but, i was told today that the intake manifold and throttle body were different from the two from my local honda parts store. im not sure if they knew what they were talking about, but, i thought it was going to be a direct bolt on. also, they told me the the jdm block will throw a cel because it doesnt have a crank sensor in it.................i was like.................huh, i thought only the obd2 usdm b18b had the crank sensor in it and didnt apply to me? honda is getting me consused. is there anything i should be technically concerned about with the jdm b18b replacing my usdm obd1 b18b1?
TIA. |

you can swap everything over from the obd1 to the 'jdm' b18b. what year is your 'jdm' b18b.
as far as technical issues, its the same engine. __________________
