I recently dropped a JDM D15B into my buddies 97 DX, but I can't seem to get a distributor to match up right. Ive tried his stock DX dist. and the one off my american D15B7(which are both exactly the same btw) And also a B16A dist. car starts, but when given gas it just bogs down really bad. We are currently running a 97 EX ecu since it had the VTEC pins on it. I'm told now that it may be the wrong ECU also, but I'm wondering if there's any other ECU's that'll plug right in and run VTEC?Any help is appreciated.

Hey I know this may sound stupid and you have already fixed the problem by now but check to see if you may have reversed the MAP and TPS sensor plugs on the Throttle Body I accidently did this on a swap and had similar problems. Just advice may or may not be the problem. best of luck, and Any Updates???

You'd probably have better luck starting a new thread of you opwn instead of digging up a 4 year old one.
