I have a 95 Integra with a which has a LS block and B16A head and the car was running fine except that the Rocker Arms were causing extremely loud ticking noises, so we decided to change them.
A friend got me a great deal on a Type-R Head so we decided to make that swap instead. I also got the Type-R intake manifold and Throttle Body installed at the same time. Problem: the car pulls weaker with the new setup in the lower RPM band, when VTEC comes in it pulls okay. Any ideas as to what the problem could be ? Let me give you the full performance specs on the car: LS/VTEC frankenstein motor setup (B18B Block with Integra Type-R Head). JDM Integra Type-R Intake and Exhaust Cams PR3 Pistons (~ 11.4 : 1 CR) JDM Integra Type-R Intake Manifold JDM Integra Type-R Throttle Body OBX 5 point Adjustable Cam Gears AEM High Flow Fuel Rail MSD 274cc Injectors B & M Fuel Pressure Regulator DC Sports Header Upgraded exhaust pipes - 2 1/4" RS Stainless Steel Freeflow muffler A.C.T. Streetlite flywheel Exedy Racing Clutch Kit MSD Blaster II Coil Short RAM Intake w/ Arospeed filter (Type-R AEM Cold Air Intake on it's way) PR3 ECU (not yet chipped) Any help would be greatly appreciated ! and the more i look at it.. i'm guessing your fuel pressure is probably way off. the ECU you are using isn't fit for the motor at all... you need some dyno time and hondata/uberdata/crome/vafc some kind of fuel adjustment.
