Basically, this is the story that brings me to this forum.
I currently own a 94 acura integra LS auto. Love the car, but not as fun as my old Civic Si(87) a co-worker just put a piston through the block of her del-sol (s w/ auto), and sold the car to me. I have just acquired a B16a engine and tranny to put in it, but i'm not sure what all is involved w/ doing so. i have a close friend w/ a shop helping me, but he is not 100% Honda like you guys...please help

How did you just 'acquire' this motor? Did you steal it? Did you get it from a junk yard? Everyone here says they 'acquire' some motor, when I just dont see motors laying on the side of the road, or even in junk yards for cheap. So you have 2500 bucks laying around and bought a b16a engine? Doubt that.

well when i see em, i can get a b16a2 or b16a3 for about 800 bucks....when i see em. i can get a y7 for like 200 bucks.

these guys dont know what they are givin away sometimes.

i am in the process of getting it through a trade deal w/ my integra. so technically i didn't purchase it. and if your the asshole paying $2500 for a b16, i suggest you spend a little time searchng harder. don't be so quick to judge people, or even assume a persons financial situation with out having any knowledge on them. Its not our fault you are dead ass broke from smarter people being one up on you.

lawls bitch, I'm about to buy a CTS-V, don't talk to me about being broke.

I'm SORRY if when I want to buy an engine, I purchase a complete swap from a reputable (non-junkyard special) source which garuntee's the engine to be in perfect shape for at least 90 days with a warranty, it'll run me about 2500. Sorry if I have that to spare..

How am I a hater? Because I wonder how you can just 'aqcuire' a somewhat rare motor? ROFL. I joined this forum because I have a few Hondas and was interested in turbo and swaps, but now I see that everyone's doing the same thing, so why would I want to be just like everyone else? How many people do you see drving supercharged CTS-Vs compared to people driving b16a swapped civics? I like this forum because no one has a bad attitude, but when people start assuming things because I ask a simple question, it's pretty pathetic.
