First off, what does OBD-1 and OBD-2 mean, and what is the difference?

OBD stands for (on board diagnostics) OBD1 is frm 1995 and below then drops to OBD0. OBD2 started in 1996( EK civic) federal law requires a secondary o2 sensor for feed back info to the ecu. OBD1 does not. and other changes mainly for emission purposes
