Default prelude to civic engine swap??

i want to know what year civic hatch i can drop the 97-01 H22 motor into?? and does it bolt to the civic Manual transmission??

This swap is hard to do as well as expensive! Awsome power, but front heavy. If you plane on going around corners fast. Forget this swap! Good luck!

most civics with H22 i see are set-up for drag only. converting the rod shifter to cable shifter is not that hard. unless you want to use a B series tranny then you can use the H2B plate. that way you can use the rod shifters. either way it will cost $$$. Hasport makes mount kits for H22 swaps into civics. keep in mind that you will need wire harnesses if you plan on using that motor in older civics (obd1).

you should be posting this in the civic forum, not the prelude forum.
