Default Removing tranny from motor ?

Hey well I just pulled the motor out of my civic, d series of course. I took off 4 (i think) 17 mm bolts holding the tranny to the motor, is there anything else holding it together?

There are a bunch of helms manuals for hondas in that link. Personally, I would just loosen all bolts that look like they conect the tranny case to the block (just use common sense).

Make sure to remove the starter too- then rock the transmission back and forth to break it loose. You might be able to find a few points along the side to use a pry bar with.

Ah yes now I remember what a bitch it was on my b18c. My friend and I fought with that thing for atleast 10 minuts before we got a gap big enough for a screwdriver.

Ok, well that was fun enough. Got it off but now new problem.

How do you remove clutch/flywheel and swap to new motor?

With a 10mm 12 point socket and a 17mm 12 point socket.
Put a screwdriver inside the small holes in the flywheel so it will pry up against the block to prevent the whole thing from spinning.
