Default skunk 2 cam gears on ctr cams

swappin in a b16b. put skunk2 cam gears on the ctr cams. now im just trying to get it time. right now it seems like the cams are opening cimpletely backwards (i.e. intake valves opening when exhaust valves should be.) anyone have any idea what all the diferent marks on the skunk2 cam gears mean and which ones should be streight up? on each cam gear there are three marks on the teeth. one tooth has a dimple. 90 degrees from that is a white line with a circle, and 180 degrees from that is another white line with a circle. so confused.

are you sure youre rotating the engine counter clockwise? that could be your problem with the intake valves opening when you think the exhaust should be. as for the skunk2 gears im not sure.

If I remember correctly the dimple should be straight up, and the other two white lines are reference marks for setting the valve lash. If you put both the dimples straight up and align the white marks in the center (the gap between the two cam gears) even with each other, then they should be set properly.

Hope that helps..
