I am a complete newbie when it comes to this stuff. Here is my situation, I am planning on putting a obd-I gsr motor into my obdII 98 civic dx. My question is if I purchase the conversion harness from rywire.com that allows you to run an obdII ecu with a obdI motor, will I still have all the functionality of the obdII ecu? Meaning, for emissions with obdII all they do is plug up to the computer to get the readings, will this still be possible so that I can still be smoggable? If not, is it possible to convert an obdI motor to be obdII? Thanks for any help you can give me.
