| Greenhorn |  Swapping B18B into EK but.... Hi i own a 1996 Honda Civic hatchback and i would like to swap in my b18b1 out of my 1990 Acura Integra LS into my civic. I know about all the mounts and linkages and everything but what about my wiring, and whats this obd0 to obd2 conversion im going to need? |

| Member | Ok if you are swaping a B18b1 its from a 94-01 Ls the 90-94 Ls had a B18a1 and is obd1. Check the block for B18... stamped on the block, its by the exhaust mani on the left side ( looking at the car). If it is a B18b1 then you need to find out if its obd1 or 2. 94-96 was obd1 and 96-01 was obd2. As for the wiring contact Hasport or go to ff-squad.com for wiring info and how to. Swapping in an obd2 motor will be much easier. I just did a 99 B18b1 into my 98 Hx, it was way easy. ff-squad.com and Hasport really helped me get the wiring right the first time around. |
