Default tranny install problems on GSR motor

Hi everyone

I have a B18c which i recently purchased and it came with a cable transmission. I purchased a GSR hydraulic tranny since my car uses a hydraulic tranny. The problem is cant get the tranny into the motor! We have tried several several times and it just wont go in.

Is the clutch different for cable and hydraulic trannys? ie clutch disc, pressure plate and fly wheel? do i need to change them all as well?

Any help would be appreciated. thank you

check the splines on yur clutch disc , they may not match up... different years may mean different spline count !
