i am having trouble finding the right tranny for my civic i just bought a si motor and you guys are telling my not to go with the ls tranny so im gonna listen to you on this but i cant find another tranny to put on my b16 i was told a si tranny is the best but what should i look for,like year to year? i live in bristol ct if you know of any place i can pick up a tranny it would help me out alot

call Jeremy at Japan Direct in NC and see if they have any b16 or gsr trannies.

that is where I got my full swap from, they are a good company and don't sell crap because they want to keep their rep good

Find a shop or salvage yard that has a 99-00 SI tranny or a GSR tranny. I have a B16 swap and they fucked me over when they sent me it with a LS tranny and won't replace it. I have a GSR tranny sitting here that I just have to put in. I wouldn't go with the LS, it feels super slow.
