I have a b18c jdm engine in my 2000Sir civic and im wondering what rpm the vtec is supposed to kick in for this model, becuase i beleive im usinga SiR ecu and its kicking in at around 6000rpm. Just curious to see what rpm its supposed to kick in at.

6k is when it get loud.. but it "kicks in" before.. i think on the sir ecu the vtec crossover is 5500

mine kicks in 5800 rpm and gets insane at 6200 rpm..i got a type r

Mine kicks at 6000rpm, on a JDM B16 PR3 Computer.....yeah its a PR3....its wierd
