Hello. I own a 1996 Honda Civic Lx 4 dr. I am planning on swapping an engine into it with time(due to my bitchy parents). Its an automatic too . I was thinking of getting a b18b1 automatic. Or converting it into a manual and swtiching a new engine. If you want to see my current car go to

From the pictures you look like you're pretty young and you're probably on a budget. Don't get offended, that's just what I observed. Anyway, I would convert it a manual as opposed to the slushbox. What I would recommend is sell that car and get an manual version of it, just makes it easier and you dont have to convert it. And the ls motor is a great application if you're going for turbo and n/a as well. good luck.
