Hello all, Im new here and am looking for some information regarding a k24a2 into my recently deceased rsx-s. Though I havent torn into the rsx yet im almost certain my head is still good. Im wondering, If I found a k24 lower end and swapped it with my current config. what all am I looking at needing to buy. I plan on using the rsx intake man and exhaust man if possible.

1.What ecu work will i need done.(remember just replacing lower end)
2. Will the stock IM and EM work with the k24 block?
3. Will it fit under my stock rsx hood?
4. These throttle body and intake manifold adaptors everyones talking about...are they necessary if only replacing the lower end and not the head?

Anything else is greatly appreciated!

A. NO ECU work is required, but you have the option of KPRO later down the road.

Q. Will the stock IM and EM work with the k24 block?
A. Yes, once you keep the PRB head both IM and EM will work.

Q. Will it fit under my stock rsx hood?
A. Yes, fits not worries.

Q. These throttle body and intake manifold adaptors everyones talking about...are they necessary if only replacing the lower end and not the head?
A. TB adapter not needed, only used when running RBC IM with RSX TB.
