How much money do you have? Unless you have about 5-6 grand laying around, I doubt you will find anything better than what you have. K swaps are about all that will make your car better.

The auto transmission is a real set back here. Do you really need this car? Like, could you sell it and get a different one with a 5-speed instead? If that's possible, then that's what I would do...

My friend did the same swap as cranny in his 4 door and its fast. he got his car salvage for $3000 with 30000 miles. worth it cuz he got a k20a2, type s dash, type s seates, 5 lug and twistys, and we wired his hole car with rsx wiring right down to the tail lights. I highly recomend looking at salvage and repo yards.

Was the RSX tail light wiring really necessary?

no it isnt , lol. most of the tail harness plugs right into the fuse box , and it all fits the rsx fuse box. BUT. theres the plug for the fuel system and sensors that do not. but using the tail harness out of the rsx caused you way more headaches than needed. its all the same. just has to be be spliced under the console/dash.
