ok i am at a stand still i ahve a 91 civic si with a zc japanese motor in it with everything done to it now it is reading a code 8 which it says is tdc position. The car will barely idle and wont barely move and the engine light is on. Does anyone know what this is and how to fix it. Everyone is saying that it is a sensor but i dont know where or anything. Any information would be greatly appreciated. thanks

are you sure it is the tdc and not the tpc

well the guy that i bought the car from says that i need a new distributor but i drove it out to my work which islike 20miles from my house and when i parked it it idled. Now a distributor for my dohc zc is 220 bucks and i dont want to buy it and have it now fix it. also i bought a honda book and it says that a code 8 is a top dead centre position soi dont know.
