Default Got a little problem?!?!?!

okay.... so i finally got my head done... so now im back to ls/vtec again for the second time... the head has supertech high comp. valves.. with type r springs an retainers... anyways... put it all back together.. started up great and everything... let it run for about 30 min.. go to drive it around... ran fine but when i decided to take it above 4k it stalled wont go past it at all... so i changed the plugs, wires,TPS, adjusted the distributor. checked to make sure all my vaccum lines are hooked up right i checked everything.. timing is dead on. sill wont do it.. weird thing is that im not throwing any codes.... but i still have the ls (pr4) ecu in there for right now cuz i lost my PW0 ecu... but i gonna order my jumper harness so i can convert to obd1 with a chipped p28 and get it dyno tuned....

so does anybody have any ideas??? not enough fuel? maybe starts and idles fine runs smooth just wont go past 4k..... it ran fine when i had my ls head on so this is kinda weird to me... let me know.. thanks

The ECU is the reason your dieng at 4k rpm. Get a p72 and it will run decent until it gets tuned on the p28.

You did say it runs fine until 4k+ rpm. The only thing I can think of it being, since everything else you've checked is ok, would be the ecu.
