Default how much boost is 2 much?

I got a 98 integra ls. I boosted it about 5 months ago. i have a built motor. this includes the following: the block is boared out .30 over, STP Forged aluminum pistons, eagle rods, block gaurd, ported and polished head, ferreara 3 angled valves, crower cams, dual springs, titanium retainers, skunk2 cam gears, skunk2 manifold. t3/t4 turbo .60 trim (ebay turbo kit), pully kit.

Now this is the issue. Right now im boosting 10 lbs. I didnt sleeve the block and im thinking about raising the boost to 16lbs. Is that a good idea, is it too dangerous to raise the boost without sleeving the block. what should I do?

Please I'll take any advice from anyone who actually knows what their talking about. Please keep in mind that this is a daily driver. Thanks

It's not dangerous at all if your tuner knows how to properly avoid detonation.

what about the sleeves? Will they hold 16lbs or is that pushing it for a daily driver?

Head studs are always a good thing to have when running high boost.

That's generally pushing it on that turbo, but with good tuning it can hold together for a long time.

well yea, i do have arp head studs and a cometic head gasket. So the majority of the people say that im ok running 16lbs, but once again are my stock sleeves ok?

Once again it all depends on your tuner and how capable they are. Calesta pretty much answered your question from the beginning..

If you get a crappy tuning job, or even worse none at all, then you'll be trading in your engine for scrap metal when the rods make holes in the block.

how many horses are you looking for thats the question and what type of gas are you running and what ems are you running these are all questions that need to be answered and i wouldn't run over 16lbs without running c16 race gas cause you might be leaning out on 91 or whatever you use

I want about 320 horses out of my build. I'm running 93 octane, As for engine managment, I dont know too much about it. I basicaly put the whole motor together and handed it over to the tunning guy. according to him i should be able to run about 22lbs. but i dont know about all that. I'll be happy with 16lbs. I think he used chrome or something like that to tune the ecu. I also have the whole fuel system beefed up. Bigger injector and a bigger fuel pump. OOO and I live in Ft. Myres, Florida.

holy crap dude. your my new best friend. that is a sick, sick, sick setup. wow thats awsome. So is that a daily driver or just a strip car?
Another question is should I get a better turbo for 16lbs or am i good with a ebay .60 trim? What else should I get?
Should I buy a better turbo kit?
How much did you pay for yours?
And one more, is that an ls?

I have a question for you...why on EARTH did you go with an eGay turbo? Those things are glued together and people have complained about the seals going out in the first few runs.

^ Maybe he wanted to try it out for himself. I know a few people running ebay turbos that have been running for 2 years+ untouched.
