Default NEED FAST ANSWER*** removing engine

ok 91 teg ls .... i want to take out just the motor... NO TRANNY... can i just un bolt all the bolts connected from the tranny to engine then pull it out ... or do i HAVE TO take both out .... and ALSO ... do i pull it from the top or drop it from the bottom ?? LOOKING FOR EASIEST WAY or FASTEST

fastest and easiest to remove the tranny with the engine.

definitly remove them both at same time, and drop it out the bottom.
