Default what do you think i going to run?

I have a 95 integra, b18b with a skunk2 pro series manifold, header back exhaust, short ram intake, ls trans, p30 ecu, and a 75 shot of zex on yokohama street tires. All comments are welcome. And im talking about on a track none of that street racing shit.

what i'm wondering is why you're running a vtec ecu on a non-vtec motor..

I know about the tranny ive been trying to find one for a while but i was just trying to give you all the facts so you could give me an answer. i was told by a few people that the vtec ecu would work good in my car which it does it just has the cel on for the knock sensor and vtec sensors. but would your best guesstimate be for my situation on the track.

if you have never been to the track before, you should be happy with a 13.8. i have seen h22 eg's run in the 14's.

it takes a lot of practice to run a really good 1/4 time.

Well thanks for that, this will be my first time out on a track, what im thinking is to fan the clutch a little bit to get off the line without burning tires and then as soon as i hit 2nd and go full throttle i will hit the arming switch for the nitrous since im on a full throttle plate. Do you have any other suggestions for my first time at the track.

You're shooting too high for a first timer, plus your mods aren't anything extravagant. 12's aren't happening, I can tell you that.

Being a good street driver doesn't mean you're a good track driver, no offense, it's just not going to happen how you think it's going to.

im betting a overly excited-missed gearshift and slamming it into 3rd while hitting nos on the missed shift

seen it happen on alot of first timers. i have yet to run mine yet, still working out the bugs. but i'd be happy to see LOW 13's and a woody on 12's.. mine ALOT more modded then yours.. and stripped too.

if i was you, i would find an empty back road and practice launching. drag racing is determined in the first 60'.

^Solid advice right there. I raced a buddy last night with my sube, he was in a Chevy truck with a SBC motor. We lined up to run, no honking, I told him go and I will catch up figuring my traction would be a LOT better. He gassed it up and dumped the clutch. Tires smoking, lots of noise.....not moving anywhere. When I heard the tire smoke I went WOT and did my launch. By the time he actually moved I was topping out 3rd 6-8 cars ahead. Moral of the story, learn how to drive and launch your car

This is all good advice, im really hoping i dont mis shift. Third is my worst gear for that to. With the ls trans though what gear do you think im going to trap in, high third or low fourth. I might also try a few runs without the nitrous just git my shifts together. Keep the advice comming.
