hmm... I thought Herpes was an STD. I didn't know you can get it from skin to skin contact? I mean I know you can get it through contact but I thought that contact had to involve your soft tissue. there are 'classes' of herpes. you know those things you get in your mouth called canker sores? those are herpes. cold sores... herpes.... not just genital warts.

EDIT: I am incorrect when stating that canker sores are herpes. I apologize for any confusion. Please don't be scared of the girl next door sucking your dick if she has a canker sore. She's clear and good to go.

No canker sores and chapped lips are communicable. It's Herpes simplex A. Lysol kills it.

This is actually pretty common just not on the scale shown abouve but my last couple of years wrestling in high school when weight in's were done they also checked your mouth and skin for any type of open sores or leations (sp). Currently they use the same practice at the faclility i wrestle / couch at now. But i remember having like 5-6 kids on our team all pop up with it at the same time. This out break also could be an indicator they the schools aren't cleening their mats properly either. Wrestling mats are dirtier then liking a toilet bowl.
