So i started the STEP program in orlando this morning, and i am so frustraded trying to learn all these abbrevations and class designations. The material (books) they gave us and the online sites have tons of abbrevations and I have to memorize them all by monday, gah!

If you're anything like me repetition in writing/typing things out helps out REALLY well in memorization.
Type them all out in here so I know what the fuck you're talking about in the first place. You'll kill two birds with one stone. |

Thanks, I like Beamers but, everything technical about them seems more complicated than it needs to be. Every thing is in german and doesnt always convert over to english and still make sense. I am in a class of 16 and i would say 10 of them drive Beamers. I am the only honda guy and my friend peter has a IS300, everyone else is a die hard beamer fan |

I tell you, I really wish I still had mine. Trading it for that piece of shit truck was a big mistake, but that's what got me into the rat style, so I guess it wasn't all bad, but that was the nicest car I've owned. I know I'm only 18 and poor as hell, but it was so nice. Maybe it's just the memories that made it, but that's the one that got away.

I look through some of the emails that I write at work... and wonder how anyone without an acronym dictionary could understand them. I guess it doesn't matter though- if people outside the company get them, then we're in trouble!

flash cards will help when the test comes up, right now they just want us to find the meanings to each and everyone.

How has the program been treating you so far? I just got accepted into STEP starting in a few months and I was wondering if it is as difficult as people say? Is it the 4-5 hours a day that they say it is?

You can train at the UTI in Phoenix or Orlando, or you can go to the factory training centers in Ontario CA or Woodcliff Lake NJ. I think a technical school somewhere in Ohio has STEP too, but I'm unsure. The criteria to get into the program is the same regardless of where you go. BMW just rents the space at UTI and the other schools to hold it there. BMW STEP Program |
