Comcast finally came....

This is a discussion on Comcast finally came.... in the Members' Lounge forum
They took like a week to get here but I finally have internet once again. I haven't exactly found a job yet, but I got enough to live for a couple months until I find something semi decent ....

The gas sucks, 85 with ethanol everywhere or 2.65 gallon for 91. My Jeep is slow as hell this high up too.

Yes, I joined the "mile high" club since I was out here, but no pregnancies.

The ride was interesting, got a flat in Ohio and my spare just happened to be flat and my 4 tows from AAA were used up, but it only cost like $125 to get it replaced. I smoked some weed with a mexican in Chicago. Iowa and Nebraska are some boring ass states.

I don't really know anyone yet, I've been trying to get settled, I still need a couch and a coffee table. Settled for a job at Autozone for $9 an hour, a little change from the $19 I was making in NY, but fuck it, rent is cheap, I have reserves that I have a plan for.

My dad called me a couple days ago wondering where I was since I just picked up and left....he lived around the block from where I do 25 years ago, figures.

And I didn't tell anyone I know where I went or was going, I didn't talk to anyone I know about it, I went to work one morning and just got tired of the area, left work, went home, packed the Jeep and left.

I do it without trying. I didn't even know he lived out here.

Gas is lower Octane because the ambient air contains lower Oxygen. So 91 is 92 or 93 out here.

I think the slowness is all in your mind too.
