Unfortunately this isn't true, I just can't seem to concentrate.

A lot on my mind that keeps jumping around and won't let me sit still and really dig into my work.

I have a lot of shit on my mind as well, car, work, house, women, women, women, car, car, work, women, car...

It's exhausting, but in the end I still sit around trying to motivate myself to get up when I can to work on things, but that rarely happens.

A wise person once told me this: you can control it, you just have to want to. I apparently keep dwelling on the issue and my mind can't let go of it for a while. Read a book... or whatever relaxes your mind. Or you can take some Scullcap herb. It will relax the brain enough for you to focus on other things... for me, sleep. It doesn't impair your brain function, though.

Amen, brother. Maybe just change your perspective and tell yourself it's not that bad while you're needing to get something done? I know it's false and your brain will 'argue' with you, but maybe you can be able to just dissect that issue later. I've realized a few things... if I may share a story.

After 3 hours of not getting a hold of her, he calls her neighbors to ask if they'd seen her. They say no, so he asks if they'd go over to see if she's home and they found her. I digress. Needless to say, she's was in the hospital and my mother is unable to drive due to her seizures. If I were working, I'd have been unable to dedicate a week to driving him up to see his mother. It seemed that along with all this there were a lot of other things that happened to me within that small period of time and it looked like maybe it was a blessing even though I fell on a hard spot.

All I can say is, try to fool yourself for a little while into thinking it's not so bad. It's worked for me before. :P

Hahaha, that's what my girl says too. She gets bored and tired, and eventually just gives up. That's where I come in

Burnout, try doing something relaxing for half an hour. Get a massage, take a hot shower, put on some soothing music, anything that gets your mind off things. Or you can just spank it like B.
