The apocolypse s/p hit us here in savannah yesterday...I had to drive 20 miles an hour on my way to work...my 15 minute ride took about 35 yesterday.

We had a storm last night south of us. A customer dealership was having a tent sale. It snapped the center two poles and parts of the tent blew 100 feet away. Funny shit, except I had to go redo the phone system.

The storm was crazy last night. About 10 mins of 50+mph winds to start, then a full on thunderstorm, then sunny (yeah, sunny!), then another thunderstorm. Of course I lost power after the wind! Nothing like coming home from work, grab a beer from the fridge, turn on the tv and the tv turns off....

I just found myself an old PC UPS with a bad battery, yanked it, and replaced it with an old car battery (hydrogen production be damned!). Can't wait till the next good storm to get some use out of it!
