I posted this over on civicland.com bri hope you dont mind me posting here as well.. (dont worry banner ad is coming
I along with 2 other partners will be importing motors again (old hybridrevolution.com). This time on a much larger scale. Our plan is as follows. We are going to get about 6-10 motors right away at our cost as an inventory. Something i never did when i was handling it all myself. What we'll be focusing on mostly b/d JDM series and Nissan motors AND body parts.. lips headlights etc.. please dont ask what prices are what yet.. we've got a warehouse, distributors lined up local and nationwide shops and the supply to finally meet it. if you wanted to do a swap and were waiting for a good deal.. your about to get it.. hang tight for more details again not a shamless pitch.. just news on me __________________

My 1.8 just isn't good enough for you. Sounds like a plan mang!!!! Too bad I don't wanna do a swap or rebuild, i'd definitely take you up on a JDM 1.8 to fit in my Si. |

Depending on the limited markup you guys can get away with, I'd LOVE to get a 2JZ-GTE swap... Motor, tranny, downpipe, driveshaft, ecu, harness... The whole shebang.

I worked the math, and for ABOUT the cost to build a 5.0 with heads, intake, TB, rotating assembly and everything to make about 400-450 horses, I could drop in a perfectly reliable, bone stock 2JZ with bolt ons and make the same power, and about the same torque... Plus, the SOUND of a 2JZ makes it all worthwhile. ![]() __________________

BTW, it's gotta be a 6 speed swap. I know they are 2x more expensive, usually, but it's ALL I want to drive. Sports cars DESERVE to be manuals.
