Default Healthcare WTF

Is this real?

Quote:
• Page 16: States that if you have insurance at the time of the bill becoming law and change, you will be required to take a similar plan. If that is not available, you will be required to take the government option!
• Page 22: Mandates audits of all employers that self-insure!
• Page 29: Admission: your health care will be rationed!
• Page 30: A government committee will decide what treatments and benefits you get (and, unlike an insurer, there will be no appeals process)
• Page 42: The "Health Choices Commissioner" will decide health benefits for you. You will have no choice. None.
• Page 50: All non-US citizens, illegal or not, will be provided with free healthcare services.
• Page 58: Every person will be issued a National ID Healthcard.
• Page 59: The federal government will have direct, real-time access to all individual bank accounts for electronic funds transfer.
• Page 65: Taxpayers will subsidize all union retiree and community organizer health plans (example: SEIU, UAW and ACORN)
• Page 72: All private healthcare plans must conform to government rules to participate in a Healthcare Exchange.
• Page 84: All private healthcare plans must participate in the Healthcare Exchange (i.e., total government control of private plans)
• Page 91: Government mandates linguistic infrastructure for services; translation: illegal aliens
• Page 95: The Government will pay ACORN and Americorps to sign up individuals for Government-run Health Care plan.
• Page 102: Those eligible for Medicaid will be automatically enrolled: you have no choice in the matter.
• Page 124: No company can sue the government for price-fixing. No "judicial review" is permitted against the government monopoly. Put simply, private insurers will be crushed.
• Page 127: The AMA sold doctors out: the government will set wages.
• Page 145: An employer MUST auto-enroll employees into the government-run public plan. No alternatives.

if it came in the form of chain mail then I is probably grossley over stated and extremely over simplified. But either way nationlized healthcare is going to suck horse peepee. Is there even a formal bill that's been compiled yet? Is it that Bachas bill or whatever that persons name is

This did not come from a chain email...and it is going to more than suck...there is so much ridiculous stuff attached to it like...vending machine content regulation, mandated doctor salaries, etc.
Seriously, this shit is never going to pass..

And why the fuck are ALL illegal immigrants going to get free healthcare...? I don't understand.

The Democrats have two options either pass this legislation and get voted out in a big way in 2010, or cut it down a boat load and still mark it down as a Democrat win.

Heh. Its going to suck to be a democrat in 2010.

You vote in an extreme takeover of healthcare. As a member of congress, you do not have to use this awful new system YOU voted into place.

. . . . then you get voted out of office and are stuck signing up for the bullshit you leveled on the rest of us.

just keep writing your congressmen (especially if you're in a democraptic run area) and keep telling them why its not a good idea.

Does anyone here actually think they can pass this though? I'd be surprised if it did. They can talk about it all they want, but its a long ways from effecting any of us. I think a lot of you guys blow things out of proportion.

Since Obama's taken office, how many of you can honestly say your lives have been changed in any significant way? Its a serious question, so be honest. I want to know.

Like B said they are a handful of votes away from getting it passed as it sits now. And yes we have all be effected. 60 percent of the mortgages in this country are held by one company. A shit load of banks are now owned and controlled by the government, plus two major automotive companies. We are not going to see the fall out from this shit storm for a few years. More than likely it will be our children that bare the brunt of the burden.

And honestly I am doing everything that I can to help try and prevent this shit from going through. I really dont care to take part in the grand socialist experiment. We are the country we are because in the past Americans where enabled to go forth into the free world and succeed and fail on their own. No/Little interference, no favors and no hand outs.

As for blowing things out of proportion we have an administration claiming that doctors are cutting tonsils out just to make some more money. Reclaiming contractually obligated wages to make it appear they are tuff on waste and fraud. When the hell did making a profit turn into such an evil thing? I guess I can see how a CEO seems like a pompous ass and they dont do a damn thing, but the fry cooks at McDonalds same the same shit about the store manager. On and on it goes.

also more to the point. It is not the job of the government to do half the shit they have been doing for the last 75 years plus. I believe in the constitution god damn it, you want to change it then ammend it. It has been the foundation of the greatest country in the world and for some reason we feel the need to wipe our asses with it because it isn't hip and cool. Its not a god damn living document that you just tack shit onto. We have mechanisims in place to affect change but we dance around that under the guise of the common good. The common good used to be helping your neighbour when he needed it be it money or holding the flashlight.

And make no mistake, I am not saying this because my guy didn't win. It doesn't matter what letter is next to someones name if your pissing on the constitution then we have beef.

I'm seriously concerned as to what may happen if this passes.

this will be the final straw when it comes to the Constitution. They may as well fucking burn it. They think its all about the money and that isn't the case. And like I said before if this passes nothing we do in 2010 is going to make a diffrence. The flood gates will be opened. This legislation raises the bar to a whole new level.

Like B said, Everyone write to your senators and tell them how bad this bill is for our country and our small businesses.
Also, make note of the reps in your area that voted for this bill, make sure you vote them out of office in the next election.
