Just thought Id share this is preety damn funny. . .I had oral surgery today to remove my impacted wisdom teeth and they gave me nitrous oxide to keep me chill. Well although I don't remember it, my mom said that when they woke me up I was all happy and saying really loudly, "Hey mom they gave me nos". . . "Man that shit fucked me up". . ."Man thats good shit" and then I put my arms out in front of me, pretending to be driving, and started shaking in order to make a fast and the furious like nitorous like scene and going, "I Hit The Nos!" hahaha now it kinda sucks though cause my mouth hurts preety bad and won't stop bleeding, but anyways hope you guys find it as funny as I did.

So they had to cut them out, since they were impacted.

Yeah, my bottom 2 were like almost perpendicular to my normal teeth and I actually had an extra tooth on the top. Ohh yeah, I just found my letter, thanks bro! I really wish someone could have caught it on video, me acting stupid that is.

exactly what i remember. hey if that shit doesnt stop bleeding you need to call the doc. there's gonna be blood but it shouldnt really still be bleeding a lot.

man i was in the worst pain of my life when that happened. They put me out, then i remember waking up. My mom took me home then left to get my prescription while i was still under the effects of the anesthetics. i guess the docs office fucked up and didnt send my prescription to the pharmacy, so it was like 2 1/2 hours later that my mom finallly got home with the painkillers, some opiate ones like vicodin. By that time all the anesthetics had worn off and all i wa doing was basically laying on the couch screaming. It took all day and most of that night for the painkillers to work since i was already in pain when i took them. That shit fuckin sucked

I still have three of mine, but the Army doesn't use n2o, so :(

Ha! Just shows you're a closet F&F fan.

John, my dentist served in Vietnam and my mom was an emergency room nurse. I didn't get any general anesthetic- local only. It's really fun to be awake while the dentist is sawing away at one of your teeth and you can feel him really yanking on shit inside your head, and then the local anesthetic starts to wear off before he's done. Oh well. I was back at work in an hour.

:)

Yeah its slowed down a lot last night, just one side still a little, i think its preety normal, nothing like it was the first time I took the gauze out. Thanks for letting me know though. Yeah luckly my grandma already takes vicodin so I was able to start soon, that had to suck with no pills. This pain isn't great, but its a hell of a lot better than my last surgery, I broke my arm and had to have a plate and 5 screws put in.

Hey anyone whose had this done, how long did it take to feel better/pain to reduce/get back to normal, no one really told me how long recovery would take.

Eh, it's not that bad. :)

I had my top ones pulled, and I was fine a day later, just some slight pain. My dentist said that its the bottom wisdom teeth that really hurt, so they filled the cavities in both of them instead of extracting them.

Aren't we all closet fans

And yea that's about what the last 4.5 years of dental trips have been like. Apparently my longbuckle nerve is REAL hard to deaden, and I've felt my fair share of drill ripping through :)
