I honestly want to see a pic. Does it transform like that mofo from G-Gundam? Hyper mode... like Super Sonic and Hyper Knuckles? Does it run on Chaos Emeralds?

I want pictures.

saw it last night and its sweet as hell. my friend said its called a hyper gsr or something like that. its basically a built gsr. its bored to 82 or 83(i dont remember) ande stroked with an aftermarket ls crank and rods. the compression is also alot higher. something like 11.8:1. it also has an lsd tranny but didnt ask about the details. he took me for a ride but didnt really open it up because he hasnt tuned it yet. still it was real nice. makes me want to finish my engine.
wow, what a rip off.
[/b][/quote]

Dont be so quick to judge... Lets say this...

Bare GSR Block = $500
Pistons & Rods = $700
Aftermarket Crank = AT LEAST $1k
Rings, Bearings, oil pump, etc = $500
B Series Bare Head = $300
Cams = $500
Springs & Retainers = $500
Valves = $300
Headwork = $500

We're up to $4800 already. Then add head gasket, cam gears, timing belt, if it has Sleeves thats another $1k. Plus other misc crap... it all adds up...

yes it does- but its used, not new. and you know as good as i that a built motor really isn't worth a lot in the market.

you assumed right, it is a brand new crate motor.

dude its just the name they gave it. put the video games down. and i thought it was kind of a rip too but this kid's knowledge on hondas is overwhelming so maybe he knows something i dont, or hes holding back some details, which he has done before.

There's a bunch of companies that make crate motors, M&M, ImportBuilders, J's Racing, Spoon. Also nowadays probably a few little shops will build up motors and sell them that are on the DL you'd never know about unless you lived next door.

this is new... hence the "crate" motor...

And if you wanted a good deal, I have a buddy that will do a completely built LS/VTEC doing 230-250whp with hondata, tranny, COMPLETE DROP IN, already tuned on an engine dyno for like $8k.
