the other day,my whole family was gone,so me and my bro were outside bored,so we sprayed down the driveway and he was trying to drift,well i got bored and took my car and was doing holeshots up the driveway,..well about 15minutes later a knock at the door,POPO on my doorstep.(thanx to my faggot ass neighbor).haha so i dont do good with cops.so im trying to be nice,hes like,lemme see your drivers licenses,me and my bro both,we dont have one,so he says your not allowed to drive without them,well i started being a smartass and basically told him its our property were allowed to do what we want within reason,he says well if you guys are going to drive just keep the noise down,,
so my question..
is it illegal to drive on your own property without a license??
and there is no noise ordinance until set time(10pm weekdays,11pm weekends) on your property right??
EDIT.and the only reason he knew it was us,was the marks and the hot hoods,

I would be super pissed if i got arrested for driving on my property with out a license.

Yeah, this thread probably shouldn't have been made honestly. You gave people too much ammunition against you rather then against the cops or your neighbor. Most likely you're just gonna end up getting a bunch of shit for doing burnouts in your driveway and questioned as to why you're driving around with no license (I realize this happened on your own property, but I know you drive places)...

ok no excuses,but my driveway is long as hell and has trees on both sides,theres no way im hitting the neighboors house(ask turbomirage,he will clarify)

you can drive on your own property w/o a license. Same goes for private developments, a license is only for public roads. As far as being too loud, so long as your town has a noise ordnance and you are not violating it you're good. How ever you might want to think twice about doing it, because if the cops get to know you/your brother and the cars for doing burnouts in the driveway what do you think will happen when he sees you out on the road?

Also technically in CT any exhaust that is louder than stock is technically illegal. No one wants to hear you burning out.
Were you just doing a couple or were you going to it for like 30 min or so? That makes a difference. Doing it quickly people might get irritated but normal won't call the cops. But if thye hate you they will probably call just ot piss you off

i did not get my license when i turned 16 because of my past..when i turned 18 i just didnt need it..but i am going this month to get it...the neighbor has hated us ever since we moved in(older people lived here before us)the day we moved in we were riding an atv and he called the cops for being too loud..the guy is a dick,and it was only 3 burnouts

its easy, dont burnout in the driveway.. if were an older person and some 19 yr old kid was burning out next door i'd call the cops too

I say do one burnout a day just to piss them off. Since when does not liking your neighbors give some one the right to dictate what they can or can't do one their own property (so long as they are not breaking the law), Sounds like most of you don't care about personal liberties. If I wanna burn the tires off my car in my driveway, so long as it's not during so called "quiet hours" I'm damn well free to do it. I bought the shit and I pay for it, it's my right to be an ass if I want.
