Broadmoor student accused of battery

A Broadmoor High School student accused of punching a school administrator in the nose has been arrested.

Laron Tyrell Davis, 5532 Adams St., was booked into Parish Prison on Monday on a count of battery of a school teacher.

According to an East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office report, the administrator found Davis smoking on campus and tried to escort him to the office for disciplinary action
