so for a first time photchop , other than the damn shadow not looking 100% correct, which you won't be able to tell the differnece in b&w what do ya think.

Just blend the shadow a little bit and smooth it out into the circle shape... you'll be fine. You can extend the shadow onto the ball a little too- just play around and you'll get it right.

Oh- I saw the "final pic" before you put the right one in.

On the closeup, the shadow isn't as important- the eyes are drawn to the sensor and that's it. I doubt that anyone will care, even if they do notice. It's just going to be in a big ass parts catalog anyway, so what does it matter?

yeah I screwed up posting the correct "final image"

I was thinking the same thing about he shadow, and it's going to be about 50% of htat size and b&w to boot, so I think it's a job well done.

Ok i dont know what to look at what shadow is it the GOLF BALL or the other thingy
what the deal did you make the golf ball or the bOX

ANyway awsome job on both things the ball looks great,the box needs a bit of work.

I'm pretty sure he was taking a picture of the "thingy", since he said that the pictures is going straight to the Thomas Register- which is a catalog / retailer of electronic parts and other goodies.

I moved the "box" which is a mock load cell and I moved that in front of the gold ball
so the shadow in question is the one the load cell casts in front of the golf ball.
but if you couldn't tell the difference means I did a great job .
