Well with the holidays being over and all people just aren't hiring and I've been forced to live off and pay bills with my tips (thank God for the tax free tips). Right now I've pretty much caught up with my bills and I'm just holding on... I put in an application to a Couriur place that pays like 500 weekly and I'm HOPING to be able to get it...if not I have less than a month to keep looking and I simply can't afford to put that kinda cash into gas money.

...I got home from the grocery store tonight, my dad decided he needed to talk to me. Apparently they have a lot of bills (which have NOTHING to do with me) that they need help on, so my dad goes into his little blah blah business shit meanwhile all I can think about is "rent" Sure enough, he wants me to start paying rent by March 1st, all because he didn't want me/I didn't want to work for OTS anymore, he's decided that he needs help although he's making his million per month or so he bragged a year ago..

He fucking wants $400 a month for my bedroom and where my tv/computer are just outside of my room on the southside of the house. Now I have only 1 problem with paying that MUCH rent as I was set to 2 years ago until I went to school for him, my one problem is that my room where I sometimes sleep and playon the computer/watch tv isn't separatable from the other half (IE No door at the bottom of the stairs.) I don't think this includes utilities plus I have a car payment/insurance on top of my computer and cable/modem bill.

Anyway, I've found a place JUST above Brians for 360 a month, all utilities paid which is a great deal IMO. I know of a place just on the other side of New Haven which looks like an old garage turned into a rentable place, but I don't know how much it is or if utilities are paid for.

1. Now my dilemna is is that I live in the fucking basement of my parents house...it's 50 degrees down here all the time...for 400 a month I BETTER start getting some heat in this fucking room. Think this could be used to haggle down the price? I know these windows are old and leak crazy, plus cold air ALWAYS sinks and there's only 2 heat vents going into the basement here.
2. The shower only gives me hot water through a 10 minute shower once every 2 weeks.
3. Kids run rampant through the neighborhood and I'd expect that my property (car) be taken care of if it's parked on their property. 2 years ago I had my car broken into and shit stolen from it and they just said "tough shit."

4. I pay cable TV and MODEM, both of which I use, dad uses TV, mom uses modem...could I pull a reversi on them and make them pay for the TV and half my modem since she uses it too? I mean how fair is it that I take on the 95 dollar burden if they both still use both items as well?
5. Would a renters insurance policy be granted through the person renting out or something I could separetly get?
6. If I was renting could I legally be held responsible to shovel their fucking driveway? I don't think so. Yet they got pissed when I shoveled the end of the driveway and didn't plow the 6" of snow still left in the rest of it. Fuck that bullshit.
7. He also told me that I'd have to pay for rent PLUS "chores" and shit. If I use the garbage can, I'll empty it. if I shit in the toilet, I'll clean it. But I'm not going to fucking scrub the upstairs shit and mop their floors or mow the yard if I have to pay rent.

That thought has crossed my mind, and that'd work...if it could happen. But, unless you can get $15000 for my civic, it won't. To top it off, I get an older car with no payments then if i do get that job I mentioned I wouldn't be able to keep it because i'd need a 97 plus vehicle.

I will be getting more hours at the pizza place as well. I'm only gettin 40 hrs per 2 weeks, I asked him for full time, especially over the weekends and I have the one app in and another in process.

sorry, but anyone who pays 15k for a 3 year old civic is a moron.

the only thing comfortable about the coupe si are the seats. im hoping to pick off a pair from a friend and weld them in.

btw - my $1500 beater has everything your car has and more, its probably faster and better on gas. just sell the thing.

Heh, I know how you feel but I think I've got it worse... I'm currently having to sink $2000 a month, 100% of my pay, into helping support my parents, my brother and myself at the moment... I had $2000 saved towards my swap and I had to use that too... My parent's told me to keep track of everything I spend and they'll give it back to me with interest eventually... but they're up to $8500 so far, with no end in sight. That would have made for a killer engine.

Move out next to B. Like mentioned above, its $40 cheaper and you get the freedom of getting drunk all day with nobody telling you to shovel the driveway and mow the lawn. If I lived by you bro, I would come smoke you out (even though you dont smoke).

Do you park your car in the garage now?
Does the other place have a garage for your car? We all know that Si's are prime target for car thiefs.

You can also pick up girls in the SI and take them back to your house/apt. Now you would have to sneak down to the basement to bone chicks and hope your parents dont hear and come ask all sorts of questions while your sitting there trying to hide your boner telling them to get out. At your own place, you can have mulitple girls over that envy you because you got your own place.

I know it sucks to have to move out for the first time but we all gotta do it and I believe (from what I am hearing/reading) it is your time.

my parents are gonna start chargin me rent pretty soon and I would rather move out then pay to stay in my own room. my 2nd oldest bro had to do it though and on the other hand I would still get to eat all the food without paying for it if I stayed at home.

That sucks that you have to park it out in the street. My old coupe got stolen right in my driveway inside a gated community! I think i know the fucker but I have no DIRECT evidence against him but hes in jail right now for.......guess what.......stealing cars!!!

Evidence against him:
1. He steals cars
2. He said he just "chilled" the night my car was stolen and would not give me details what he did.
3. We were homies and talked like 3 times a week and when my car got stolen, he didnt call me for a month and said his buddies had my parts.
4. I dated his girlfriend while she was with him
5. He knows where I live
6. He showed me how to break into cars
7. My car was broken into exactly how he showed me
8. He tried to sell me stolen parts (not mine)

Their is a couple of other things that could be sorta evidence against him but I cant remember. The police said they could not fingerprint the car for his fingerprints because he had been in the car before. When I see him I am going to come from behind and stomp his ass! He cheap shotted my car so I will cheap shot him.
