yeah, that's hardly the ghetto. perhaps a not so good area, full of painters, but not the ghetto of oakland.

Look at me, I'm from Bristol...my neighbor drives a Ford truck..ghetto! Eww, look at all these dirty little houses in Oakland and look at that African man painting his car...gross...I'm glad I live in my safe little Connecticut bubble.

LOL

103rd / Grape, Watts, Los Angeles, CA = reallygnarly...just pan down 103rd for little while

i don't care who you are
painting a car in the street on a tarp with rattle cars and newspaper is ghetto
most people would be worried about over spray on the surrounding vehicles and houses...
most people...

Worried about over-spray vs worried about murder...cmon there are window boxes and cute little flower gardens in those yards...there are no window boxes and flower gardens in watts. It'snot safe to stay outside long enough to plant flowers lol

Not bad. I actually think that neighborhood is pretty nice.

But hilarious, him painting the car in the street.

There have been movies made chronicling the crime in Bristol CT. Bristol is typically a "Roll em up!" town for me. Most of CT is Lock'nloadville. I'm on the border of the CT you're thinking of - a small part called "Lower Fairfield County". The parts of CT that aren't flat-out Rural, or ultra-rich, are places that you simply don't go to when the sun goes down.

Most of CT isn't that bad. Some cities are shitty like New Haven, Bridgeport, and Hartford. But its mostly just a few neighborhoods. I grew up in Bristol, except for the housing authority areas in Bristol you'll be fine.

its not a great movie by any means, but in the 90s, it got pretty bad here for a while. Latin kings were everywhere. It's cleaned up quite a bit since then, but there's still sections of town that are pure shit.
