lol at the majority of ufc fighters who will never see tv time again

whenever spike shows replays i swear half of the fighters look like complete amateurs that they just pulled out of the stands. Pride>UFC, finally it will prove true

couture would get murdered by fedor, without question
if liddell finds a way past jackson in may (i doubt it) he couldnt hang with silva or henderson
and anderson silva has lost to fighters in pride that arent even title holders
and it goes on and on..... i cant wait till these fights materialize

no this just gives them a bigger pool which means more fights on free tv. And as popularity grows they can earn more from Tv ads which will pay the fighters as opposed to the current situation where PPV gate is the majority of earned income. This is a win win all over the place

true true... i just hope the additional fights on free tv will include QUALITY fights, not like that one asshat they always have on, chris leban, i swear he is on every spike UFC fight night deal because he was on that show... he would get torn apart in the ranks of pride

you know sometimes the inexperience can lead to entertainment

look at Giffen/Bonner and Griffen/Bonner2

the first fight way way more exciting, why? Inexperienced fighters have less defense :-)

some of the best knockouts on a PPV are the early fights they show with time remaining after the main event

true again, its just that every time i turn it on, its another fight with him that goes like:

both swinging for the fences for like 2 minutes in the very beg, get tired, someone gets taken down, throw half ass punches in thier guard.......put back on thier feet, lean on each other against the fence....... round ends, and repeat minus any real talented stand up or ground game

dont get me wrong i know how physically demanding this is, ive been a collegiate wrestler all my life and it takes every ounce of energy and can be the most tiring 6 minutes of your life, but i can also tell when someone isnt conditioned and is just gassed

Couture will get killed by Crop Cop aswell, don't forget Cro Cop gets his shot before fedor will.
Rampage will kill Liddell in thier next fight and he won't fight Anderson Silva because they are in different weight classes although Dana White said that Chuck wants to fight Cro Cop and Fedor. Rampage will demolish him before either one gets a chance to lol

You would be suprised at how the UFC rules will effect the way some of the Pride fighters like to fight. A lot of them like to stomp out their downed opponent and/or kick them in the face, that's a no no in the UFC and the UFC can't change it so they can allow stomps or kiscks/knees to the head of a downed opponent because the Atheltics commision makes the rules, not the organization. I would agree that Pride has more of the better fighters but do not count the UFC fighters out at all.

are you guys crazy? Cro Cop is going to have a hell of a fight to beat Couture, the only person to beat him in years (that eye cut loss doesn't count) is the most dominant Mixed Martial Artist in the USA.

My friend Ryan who has 6 amateur fights could kick Leban's ass. Why? He is in great shape to go balls to the wall all the time (IMO the best skill a fighter can have), He use to box so has great standing defense (bad for Leban), and every time he is taking down, he does more damage from the bottom than they do from the top (Bad for Leban if he uses takedowns to rest). Besides the fact that Chris Leban blows.

just for some back as to why Chuck will win, the ONLY person that's ever beat Chuck that he hasn't came back and beat is Jackson and that's only cause they haven't had a chance yet. And look at quality of opponents in his recent history

i dont think that pride has better fights than ufc. but i know that the pride fighters have a hell of alot more staminum then the ufc fighters.
