blah the economy is still STRONGER then it was during the Clinton years

My stock is still kicking along. slowly. but steadily. And I just sold off a bunch of my bonds. But it made more sense to sell the bonds and pay off my credit cards (ok, a couple of em, anway). They'll make me more money that way.

I've discovered that if you have high intersest, making minimal interest on stocks/bonds is freakin stupid. sell it. pay off your loans, then go at it again free and clear.
 
and then the 1099-int's come in at the end of the year, and you get screwed. bonds stopped being worth it back in series EE

best investment to make is to pay off debt unless you can make more interest % than you are paying on the money you borrowed
