Default the RS is gone.... what to do with the money

so, the RS got picked up this morning and off to its new owner, and that leaves me with a nice chuck of cash to play with.

I still don't know what I'm going to do with it....

Options:

Add to IRA
New kitchen counter, bathroom vanities, to complete my re-model
put it towards the m3 payment
and the required option, coke and hookers

any other ideas?

i didn't even know you were trying to sell it. i thought you were going to keep it for a while.

ROTH FTW
or play in the market
you're a smart guy, i bet you could do well in the market if you devoted some time to research

First there is the engine hardware: a Vortech gear-driven supercharger adding 5.5 psi of boost, air-to-air intercooler, bigger fuel injectors and much better oil cooler and radiator, as well as countless hours spent setting the optimum engine management calibration, all of which help give the S3-R that 462 hp and 328 lb-ft of torque at the flywheel.
WOW

I like the coke and hookers, you should still have plenty left over to either make some payments with or dump it into the IRA.

House yes, condo not so much - atleast in my area. Condos are a saturated market. I would really not do much more to the condo and throw the cash into a savings/retirement type account.

i'm figuring the rest of the remod is ~ 2 grand

800 ish on a counter
200 ea for the vanities, 200 each for the mirrors, 200 each for the lighting

200-500 for labor

so, that still leaves me with a buttload of cash that i don't know what to do with. lol

after these last mods are done, i'm going to list for 159, and won't let it go for less than 157 come the end of summer or something. i'im stuck here till nov, else i'm going to get hit with capital gains.

i paid 147,500 for it
i owe 140,100 on it as a loan buyout figure.

so i'm looking at 12 grand profit (minus the 5k i put into it, assuming i spend about 2 on the remaining stuff above), and with my payoff, that leaves me about 20 grand in my pocket towards the new house.
so, really, i don't need to 'save' for the new house. i'll have a DP for it from the condo sale.

well this is freaking crazy..

my dad just shot me an email.

my elderly neighbors to my parents' house passed away in nov-ish one right after the other.

my parents and i would always take care of their snow and leaves in the fall and otherwise were good neighbors to them.

I guess their daughter came over last night and handed my old man a check for 20 grand. They left our family in their will for helping them out through out the years.

my old man is splitting it 4 ways (one for each of us, mom, dad, sis, and me), so i got another 5 grand coming in that i totally didn't ever expect.

so not counting the remod, i got 9 grand to do something with.
