girls can be suckers for thoughtful stuff; doesn't have to cost money.

make her a 'coupon' for one 1hr full body massage and make sure you have some kind of massage oil on hand. cheap, effective; she understands you were broke, but thought about her.

I got nothing from the wife

But, when I got home today...she finally asked me what I wanted...and then I asked her what she could afford..... her> <me.

So I think I'll pressure her into getting me:

(A) a mig welder, a chop saw, a band saw, and some other tools.
(B) a Canon XTi DSLR with a full camera kit.
(C) The wheels I'm waiting for Rota to make and some tires.
(D) A Tire changing machine.
(E) Pay for the bills for a month.
(F) Buy a new car that can tow, and is decent on gas.
(G) A full set of Megan coil-overs for the S12.

But on the other hand... my sister sent me some sausage and cheese in a tower boxed thing, my friends wife gave me $50, and a neighbor tossed me some peanuts and popcorn in a tower box thing.

My final Santa budget ended up way more than I thought it would, but I made a lot of people happy.

The wife ended up with her wine glasses, a case of plum wine, and a Coach purse... about $1000. And she also ended up with a house that looks pimp. Look at my sig.
My parents and sisters got about $400 worth of mail-order-meat.
Steve got $50 to take his SO out to dinner.
Chris, Tristen, and Tom all got a R/C drift car...Chris doesn't know it yet. $80
The wife's brother got a pair of $400 wine glasses also.
Two neighbors got Dunken Donuts $20 each gift cards, I also tossed the guys siding my house the same thing, $20 each.
The wife's friend got a bottle of Hennessey XO. $160.

so all in all...I've shelled out about $2200... for everyone..

And then my Z got a set of Volks C Ultra's and new tires, 1" wheels spacers, and a Sard R2D2 BOV. The S12 got a pair of Watanabe's and a pair of Work E-wing's with tires, The garage got a PS3, with a few games and a few Blu-ray DVD's, and I ended up getting enough Corona Light and some propane to keep me warm and happy in the garage when I'm not sleeping or working.

This year the wife and I set our budgets a little lower because she's due in feb with our first son and she had to quit her job about 3 months ago due to the fact she was sick all the time, so.... I got a magnaflow muffler, new shifter knob, white faced gauges, $50 gift card to o'reily's, new silverstar bulbs, a set of driving lights, a Ralph Lauren polo l/s shirt, a few books, wife got a few pieces of Calphalon cookware, some new silverware, lots of other various kitchen goodies (she loves to cook and I love to eat lol) and lots of nice baby stuff for our son.

I got forged internals. Eagle rods, Wiseco pistons, OEM bearings. Picked up a laptop for myself. Compaq Presario with 2 gb ram, dual core 1.8ghz processors, nvidia 6100 256mb gfx card and a 120 gb hd. I love it. Vista is actually pretty badass if you have a computer that is good enough to run it smoothly.

Working my ass off.... It's still safely in budget Vs. my paycheck...

$129,645.22 for the 13 year mortgage.
$50,007.77 currently for the HELOC Loan...will add about $12K's to that when the siding is done.
$26,130.54 payoff balance for my student loans...

$205,783.53 right now. Add 11-12Ks for the last installment for the siding on the house...so about $216,783.53--$217,783.53ish for the first of the year..... but that will drop about $550 when I make a payment on the mortgage before Jan 1st. And when the house is back together, kitchen has a little work done to it, I clean everything up at the right time and get another appraisal and refinance....then I'm shooting to have a house thats worth $325K's + that I owe for less than $180K's....I can either sell, move, start over in a smaller house closer to work, and buy a plane. or live here until the wife needs a wheelchair to get around (5-10 years) and pay down more on the house debt, then sell, move, and still have money to play with.

And working my ass off, I'm closing in on hitting the 6 digit yearly pay scale...so I'm not really worried about money right now. Plus I'm nearly $40K's into a 401K in only 5 years and I'm still 35 right now...20 years later...I expect to retire happy.

I cleaned up this year.

Lucky Jeans
Freeworld Jeans
A.Lab Shirt
Underarmor long sleeve
Bestbuy $30
Target $20
About 150 in cash
A couple sets of pliers, nail punches.
Motorola bluetooth headset dealio
And a buttload of random candy's and such like frango's and chocolate coffee beans.

I spent all in all around 1g this year that I definitely needed, but what goes around definitely comes around. I'm lounged up watching evan almighty with mom eating brie and crackers like I'm a starving ethiopian child.

I got 11 HD dvds, XBOX 13 month card, XBOX 4000 point card, XBOX rechargeable battery, BB gift cards, and a louffa. Christmas was good But i love giving more then I do receiving and I knew my family was happy. The best part of Christmas 07 was no girlfriend. So that saved me at least a 1000 bucks.
