B was just making an example that Japanese auto manufacturers also do other stuff. Nissin and noodles, Mistubishi and TV's, etc.

A lot of it makes sense though because most of those are engineering companies so a lot of the stuff isnt too much of a stretch.... but i fail to see a connection between noodles and brakes.
